Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Intersect Prep about using the site. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Who can use Intersect Prep

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or guardian's permission to use the site, and they agree to these terms on your behalf.

Your account

• Give accurate information, including your age.
• Keep access to your email or Google account secure; you're responsible for what happens under your account.
• Accounts are for one person. Don't share yours.
• You can delete your account at any time from Account settings.

Using the site

You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, download in bulk, republish, or sell the lessons, practice problems, or explanations;
• use bots or other automated tools to access the site;
• try to get around sign-in, access other students' data, or interfere with the site's security or operation;
• reverse engineer the site, or use it to build a competing product;
• use the site to break any law or to harass anyone.

Our content

The lessons, practice problems, explanations, and design of the site belong to Intersect Prep and are protected by copyright. We give you a personal, non-transferable permission to use them for your own SAT preparation while you have an account. Your progress data is yours; see the Privacy Policy for how we handle it.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve the site without owing you anything.

Other companies' services

The graphing calculator is provided by Desmos Studio PBC and is subject to Desmos's terms. Intersect Prep is not affiliated with or endorsed by Desmos Studio or the College Board. SAT is a trademark registered by the College Board. Desmos is a trademark of Desmos Studio PBC.

No guarantee of results

Intersect Prep is a study tool. We work hard to make every problem and answer correct, but mistakes can happen, and we can't promise any particular score. Our practice problems are original and are not official SAT questions.

Passes and payments

• What you get. A pass gives one account full access to the lessons, practice problems, calculator, and timed sets for the length you choose (1 month = 30 days, 3 months = 90 days, 6 months = 180 days), starting the moment you buy it. If you already have a pass, a new one starts when the current one ends. Prices are shown on the Pricing page and at checkout before you pay. A price change never affects a pass you've already bought.
• One payment, no subscription. A pass is a single payment. It does not renew and we will never charge you again unless you buy another pass.
• Who processes payments. Payments are handled by Stripe, which may act as the seller of record for your purchase and handles payment details, sales tax, and receipts. We never see or store your card number.
• Students under 18. A parent or guardian must make or approve the purchase.
• Refunds. If you change your mind, ask within 7 days of buying for a full refund, by contacting us at support@intersectprep.com. After that, passes aren't refundable except where the law requires. A refunded or charged-back payment ends the pass it paid for.
• If we close. If we stop offering the site while your pass has time left, we will refund the unused part.
• Deleting your account ends any pass on it. Ask for a refund first if you're still within the refund window.

Ending your use

You can stop using the site and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the site or other students at risk, and we may change or stop offering the site.

Disclaimers and limits

The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. To the fullest extent the law allows, Intersect Prep is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or scores, arising from your use of the site, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing). Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Disputes

If you have a problem with the site, please contact us first at support@intersectprep.com so we can try to fix it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in California, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell you on the site or by email before a significant change takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new terms.
